Why should I hire a videographer?
From the rehearsal dinner, the gathering of friends and family, the pre-ceremony preparations to the beautiful ceremony and fun filled reception, only video can capture the sights and sounds of your wedding day. Not having a professional video of their wedding is one of the biggest regrets couples experience. Your wedding video will be an heirloom that your family will always cherish.
Will the camera man be disruptive?
We are there to capture the moments of your day, not be a part of it. We remain inconspicuous throughout the wedding. We will not annoy your guests with bright lights or distract them from the attention that belongs to you. We do not interview guests unless requested. We dress appropriately for the occasion. No jeans or t-shirts.
What are the differences in your finished edits?
A Full Length Edit includes the full ceremony (edited between different camera angles) and the main events of the pre-ceremony (first look, portrait session) and reception (first dance, cake cutting, toasts, etc.). The edit follows the timeline of the day and the length is 60 - 80 minutes depending on the number of hours requested for coverage.
Feature Films follow a timeline edit but condenses the length of the pre-ceremony, ceremony and reception to a 20 - 30 minutes length. This edit captures the essence of the wedding day using music you select.
Highlight Edits incorporate a more artistic approach to the edit. The key moments of the wedding day are woven into a 5 - 10 minutes story that feature the couple with their bridal party and immediate family. A private web link is provided so the couple may share with a select group of family and friends. This edit is our most popular.
Trailer Edits are fun to share on social media and generate great feedback from family and friends. This edit incorporates one or two background songs and lasts 3 - 4 minutes. This teaser video quickly previews the beauty of your special day.
What if my church has restrictions?
Most churches welcome videographers since they understand the importance of your day and your wish to have the memory captured on video. We work closely with the church on the best camera placement and microphone requirements. See a list of the many locations we have filmed.
When will I get my finished video?
Please allow four to five weeks to receive your final edit. Web highlight videos are ready in two weeks.
Do you travel beyond the Lowcountry?
We are based near Charleston, SC and the majority of our weddings are filmed in the surrounding Lowcountry. However, we've filmed weddings throughout South Carolina and beyond (Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, Colorado and the list continues to grow).
When should I reserve your services?
The sooner the better. We require a $600 deposit to reserve your day. We book on a first come, first serve basis.
